Install the extension
Add DemoLens from the Chrome Web Store, then pin it so the lens icon sits in your toolbar. No account needed to start recording on the free plan.
Hit record
Click the DemoLens icon and press Record. Pick the tab, window, or screen to capture in Chrome's picker and click Share. Recording starts immediately — no setup, no keyframes.
Triple-click — and let it zoom
Just use your app normally. Whenever you want the camera to come in, triple-click — three clicks in quick succession. DemoLens pushes in on your cursor and follows it, then eases back out on its own. Triple-click again to pull straight back out. While recording, a triple-click zooms instead of selecting text, so your demo never shows a stray highlight.
Trim it, then export
Stopping the recording opens the built-in editor in a new tab. Every zoom it caught is listed on the timeline — drag one to retime it, toggle one off, trim the ends, cut the middle. Then export MP4, WebM or GIF. Export before you move on: the editor keeps a take for 24 hours, then clears it.

Out of the box, DemoLens auto-zooms inside the Chrome tab. The optional, free Desktop Helper extends that to your whole screen, your IDE, terminal, design tool, slides, anything, so the focus follows your cursor across an entire workflow, not just one browser tab.
